PillRoll Subscription Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to the PillRoll subscription services provided by McKay Pharmacy. By subscribing to a PillRoll service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. About the Service
PillRoll is a private monthly subscription service designed to make managing your regular medication simpler, safer and more convenient.
Before commencing the service, our pharmacy team will review your medication and discuss whether PillRoll is the most appropriate medication management option for your individual circumstances.
Depending on the subscription selected, your service may include:
- Delivery of your regular medication.
- Medication prepared into clearly labelled PillRoll sachets.
- Collection of PillRoll medication from your chosen McKay Pharmacy.
- Delivery of PillRoll medication to your home.
Your medication continues to be supplied in the normal way. The monthly subscription fee covers the additional private PillRoll preparation and/or delivery service.
2. Subscription Options
You may choose one of the following monthly subscriptions:
| Subscription | Monthly Fee |
|---|---|
| Pre-Paid Medication Delivery | £12.00 |
| PillRoll Collection | £15.00 |
| PillRoll + Delivery | £25.00 |
Subscription fees are collected monthly.
Should subscription prices change, we will provide at least 30 days' notice.
3. Your Responsibilities
To help us provide your service safely and efficiently, you agree to:
- Ensure McKay Pharmacy is nominated as your pharmacy with your GP Practice.
- Provide accurate personal, contact and delivery details.
- Inform us promptly if your address, telephone number or email address changes.
- Notify our pharmacy team immediately if you become aware of any changes to your medication, including changes made by your GP, hospital or clinic. Although healthcare professionals may notify us directly, early notification from you helps minimise delays and ensures we can prepare your medication safely.
- Inform us as soon as possible if you are admitted to hospital.
- Ensure someone is available to receive deliveries where applicable.
4. Medication Changes
We prepare your medication using the most up-to-date prescription received from your GP or prescriber.
It is very important that you notify our team as soon as you become aware of any medication changes.
Late medication changes cannot always be incorporated into your next scheduled PillRoll supply. Where appropriate, medication may need to be supplied separately until your next cycle.
McKay Pharmacy cannot be held responsible for delays caused by prescriptions not being issued or received from your GP or prescriber in sufficient time.
Following discharge from hospital, we ask that your discharge prescription is sent to McKay Pharmacy as soon as possible. Where you wish to continue your PillRoll service after discharge, we request that you are supplied with a minimum of 14 days' medication on discharge. This allows sufficient time for us to receive discharge information, obtain any necessary GP prescriptions, source medication where required and safely prepare your next PillRoll cycle.
5. Deliveries
For customers subscribed to a delivery service:
- Deliveries will be made to your registered delivery address unless otherwise agreed.
- Someone should be available to receive the delivery.
- If nobody is available to receive your delivery, your medication may be returned to the pharmacy for collection.
- If you require your medication to be delivered again, you must contact the pharmacy to arrange a re-delivery.
- A re-delivery charge may apply.
6. Collection Services
For PillRoll Collection subscriptions:
- We will notify you when your medication is ready for collection.
- Medication should be collected promptly.
- A representative may collect your medication on your behalf, provided you have informed us in advance who this person is. We will record their details on your account for security purposes.
7. Payments
Subscription fees are payable monthly on a rolling subscription basis.
If payment cannot be collected, we may suspend your subscription until payment has been received.
Outstanding subscription charges remain payable.
8. Cancelling Your Subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time by providing 30 days' written notice.
Cancellation requests should be emailed to:
Your subscription will remain active until the end of the notice period.
McKay Pharmacy reserves the right to suspend or terminate the subscription if:
- Subscription payments are not received;
- The service can no longer be provided safely; or
- These Terms and Conditions are repeatedly breached.
9. Hospital Admissions
Please let us know as soon as possible if you are admitted to hospital.
If you remain in hospital for more than one calendar month, you may apply for a refund of one month's subscription fee by emailing admin@mckaypharmacy.com.
Refund requests will be considered once your hospital admission has been completed and you have been discharged.
If you intend to continue using PillRoll following discharge, please ensure your discharge prescription is sent to McKay Pharmacy as soon as possible. We request that hospitals provide a minimum of 14 days' medication on discharge to allow adequate time for prescriptions to be processed and your next PillRoll cycle to be prepared safely.
